From June 1 to July 4, 2015, Mark and Dianne Boutilier travelled across Canada in their 1953 GMC truck to raise funds and awareness for ALS/MND. After losing two close friends to ALS they put the petal to the metal to make a different in the lives of those living with ALS.

The couple left Abbotsford, British Columbia on June 1, on their journey making their way all the way to the Maritimes before heading back to BC with a quick stop in Manitoba.

They arrived in Winnipeg on Sunday, June 28 and joined the “Sunday Night Cruise Night at The Pony” at the Pony Corral Restaurant, Grant Park. The ALS Society of Manitoba in partnership with the Fabulous Fifties Ford Club (FFFC) set up a community booth.

Mark and Dianne’s fundraising efforts were a huge success in Manitoba and across the country, raising over $30,000.00 to support those living with ALS/MND. Super 8 Hotels are a proud sponsor of the fundraising trip and the ALS Societies across Canada.
