ALS Canada and Brain Canada invest more than half a million dollars in the future of ALS researchers with the 2023 Clinical Research Fellowship and Trainee Awards
The recipients of the 2023 ALS Canada-Brain Canada Clinical Research Fellowship and Trainee Awards competition have been announced. This year ALS Canada partnered with Brain Canada, supported by Fondation Vincent Bourque, to contribute more than half a million dollars to support the recipients in these areas. This funding is part of ALS Canada’s 2023 research commitment.

These awards are funded through the ALS Canada Research Program, which is supported by ALS Canada donors including individual and corporate donors like Brain Canada. Donors also include community-based fundraising events and participating provincial ALS Societies who contribute 40 per cent of net proceeds from the Walk to End ALS.
