In November of 2022, Grammy-winning musician Roberta Flack was diagnosed with ALS. The 85-year-old singer is known for such hits as Killing Me Softly With His Song and The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face. Sadly, the disease has now made it impossible for her to sing, but according to her publicist, “it will take a lot more than ALS to silence this icon.”
