WOW…Thank you, Brandon!

Everything fell into place beautifully for another successful Walk to End ALS at the stunning Riverbank Discovery Centre. The bright sunshine shone on our group of about 80 walkers and dogs of all shapes and sizes as they embarked on the 5K loop around the park, honouring their loved ones, coworkers, and friends.

At the picnic site, the Auction of Hope table stayed open, and Daylyn and Ryan from Brandon’s Pure Country radio kept the excellent music going throughout the walk. Your contributions, whether through fundraising, sponsorship, or participation, have a lasting impact.

Brandon and the surrounding area, we are proud to announce that you are making a significant difference in the lives of our clients living with ALS/MND and their families, as well as contributing to some of the best dedicated ALS research in the world. A huge thank you to Taryn, our Brandon Walk Coordinator, and her family and friends for organizing and volunteering at the walk. Thank you also to all the prize and refreshment donors and to everyone who supported the event, whether in person or by donation. It truly takes a community, and we are immensely grateful for all of you!

Sixty percent of the proceeds directly support the ALS Society of Manitoba, enabling us to provide essential community-based services such as educational resources, equipment assistance, home visits, and support groups. The remaining forty percent supports the ALS Canada Research Program, with funds matched by Brain Canada, doubling the impact of your generosity.
