Thank you to everyone who attended our annual Awards, AGM and Volunteer Appreciation Evening, held on September 14th, 2022. We had a marvellous evening of friendship, music and refreshments as we came together to review our past year.
We said farewell to Micheline Chaput as our president (who now moves to Past President) and welcomed our new President Joanne Mills. Nitesh Sanghai joined us as a new Board Member and we graciously welcomed him. Unfortunately, we also said goodbye to two of our board members Jessica LoRusso and Ken Craig – we hope to see them again sometime soon.
We honoured a few individuals with our Frank Edmonds Volunteer Awards and Marcel Bertrand Memorial Business Award. Afterwards, everyone mingled and got to meet each other while in the background, live magical music was provided by Neil Keep to round off a wonderful night. A little dancing may have taken place as well…
For those who were unable to attend, thank you for the time and commitment that you have so generously donated to help support the ALS Society of Manitoba. We hope to see you at our Volunteer Appreciation Evening next year or perhaps at one of our events before that night arrives.
