Thank you, Winnipeg!
We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support and participation in the Walk to End ALS held in Winnipeg, organized by the ALS Society of Manitoba and ALS Canada. This event, Canada’s leading volunteer-driven fundraiser for ALS Societies nationwide, was a beautiful display of unity, hope, and commitment to a future without ALS.
Sunday was an exceptional day with over 700 attendees at Assiniboine Park. The perfect weather added to the enjoyment of the walk, followed by a fantastic party on the pad hosted by our guest MC Chris Caslake from CJNU937 and the ALS Society of Manitoba Executive Director, Diana Rasmussen. Your contributions, whether through fundraising, sponsorship, or attendance, have a lasting impact.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the Auction of Hope, and congratulations to all the winners! We deeply appreciate the generosity of all the prize donors who made this possible. Special thanks to our amazing volunteers who made this, our largest fundraiser of the year, a success—you ROCK!
Sixty percent of the proceeds directly support the ALS Society of Manitoba, enabling us to provide essential community-based services such as educational resources, equipment assistance, home visits, and support groups. The remaining forty percent supports the ALS Canada Research Program, with funds matched by Brain Canada, doubling the impact of your generosity.
Lastly, a huge thank you to our wonderful sponsors who helped make this event possible, whether through financial support or product donations. Please support them if you have the opportunity.
ALS Doesn’t Stop and Neither Will We!
Thank you for your unwavering commitment to our cause. Your dedication brings us closer to a world free from ALS.
With heartfelt appreciation,
The ALS Society of Manitoba
