June is ALS Awareness Month
2019 Flag Raising Ceremony
The Flag Raising Ceremony is a symbolic event to kick off June as ALS Awareness Month.
The Ceremony will be attended by Deputy Mayor Markus Chambers in recognition and support for ALS Awareness Month and people living with ALS.
“Every day and month are special for people with ALS. June is ALS Awareness Month across Canada and here in Manitoba. This month will hopefully create more awareness about ALS through profiles and spotlights on activities. This is an opportunity to bring people together and highlight the needs of people with ALS”, says Diana Rasmussen, Executive Director of the ALS Society of Manitoba.
Please come out and support us at this kick-off event on June 4th, at 9 am – City Hall.
Hope to see you there!
