Province of Manitoba proclaims June 2015 as ALS Awareness Month
On June 20, 2015, Sharon Blady (Minister of Health) proudly presented the ALS Society of Manitoba a Proclamation on behalf of Deanne Crothers (Minister of Healthy Living and Seniors) and the Province of Manitoba. This proclamation states that June 2015 is officially ALS Awareness Month in the Province of Manitoba.
“June is a special month for us at the Society,” says Diana Rasmussen, Executive Director of the ALS Society of Manitoba. “For us and the more than 3,000 Canadians living with ALS/MND, this month is an opportunity to talk more about this fatal disease and give people the opportunity to learn about how important supporting those living with ALS/MND everyday is.”
