Matching Gift Program
What is an Employee Matching Gift Program?
Many companies encourage their employees, spouses, or retirees to contribute to charities by offering a “matching gift” program. The company donates funds to match your contribution to the same charity. Matching Gifts programs increase the value of your gift and make a greater impact in your community. By taking advantage of your company’s Matching Gift program, you may be able to double or even triple the amount of your contribution.
How Do You Get Started?
Find out if your employer has a Matching Gift Program by checking with your Human Resources department. If there is a program already in place, they will provide you with the information you need to match your donation.
